Brought to you by the same questionable folks who make the Weekly Volcano, the South Sound's only alternative newsweekly, Volcano Radio is designed to be an every-Thursday audio companion to the arts, music, dining, entertainment and local current events coverage you've come to depend on from the paper and website. Occasionally it even succeeds.

Hosted by Volcano editor Matt Driscoll and Volcano music columnist Rev. Adam McKinney, and featuring regular contributions from Volcano scribes such as Steph DeRosa, Jennifer Johnson, Christopher Wood and others, Volcano Radio airs every Thursday from 8-9 p.m. on NWCZRadio.com.

Just listened and not bad.
The show needs a thread though, it all seemed really random. If you know novelist Mark Lindquist is a guest, then happy hour is at a place mentioned in a local novel, dating is a story of fiction come to real life, and the music reflects the topic.
Or segway from section to another. Where one drops off the next picks up and continues the story but along a different path.
Where's the producer? The story editor? Oh yeah, it's the Volcano.
Just kidding. Good luck and looking forward to next week.

Is is a great companion piece to the weekly magazine--and some of the music is pretty dope.
