There's something in the water in the South Sound. Maybe it's that first glassful of orange-rust funk that gives our downtown buildings their charm, or maybe it's the ubiquitous hydration substitute, coffee, but our gritty little region rocks. We rock it good.

On March 11 we present of our second annual Music Issue. As with all of our special issues, we'll humbly offer up a few servings of tasty tidbits that we hope will help broaden your tastes - in this case, your musical ones.

Bonus For Bands

Sitting around the Weekly Volcano's big, war room conference table, the powers that be came up with an amazing plan - and if you're in a local band you'll want to take note.

Our March 11 Music Issue - which, in addition to the best local music content you'll find anywhere, will include a South Sound band directory - a quick and easy guide for South Sound music fans to familiarize themselves with a crapload of local bands.

How is the Weekly Volcano going to compile this South Sound band directory, you ask?

Simple.

Any band that signs up for a Band Profile between now and March will automatically be included.

In short: Sign up for a band profile at weeklyvolcano.com. Introduce yourself to the masses. And get included in the Volcano Music Issue's South Sound band directory come March - all in one easy step.
