Tech N9ne coming to Oly

Tech N9ne will hit The Royal Lounge's stage Friday March 26.  The Kansas City representative is a giant on the independent music scene. Example: he signed fellow underground legend Brotha Lynch Hung of Sac-Town to his Strange Music label last year. SP will host the joint that will feature a performance by LA Swagga and supposedly Jail Bird will be on the line up. It will be a surprise if Tech N9ne's show does NOT sell out. His only other Northwest show is in Van City, BC. Shots to SP!

A few cats are in the studio working on albums that garner anticipation. Upstart MCs LA Swagga are reportedly working on a piece of work worth a listen. Also, 25360 MC of The Year Afrok is looking to complete his first album. Both are scheduled for release in mid-spring 2010. Go get it!

Just in time for his birthday, Bay Area Legend Andre Nickatina is making his annual trip to the Pacific Northwest next week for The Pisces Tour 2010.  No one quite knows the OG's age and it really doesn't matter because his fan base continues to swell with teenagers and college crowds - not to mention those who have been down since his days as Dre DogNickatina is quietly working on his next album, Khan: The Me Generation and will be in Portland on March 11 (The Roseland Theatre) and Seattle on March 12 (Studio 7). Check for the OG... He spits game like no other.

Live From I-5... This is Jose S. Gutierrez Jr. signing out.

Until next time ...Stay up!  PEACE.

Winners Train, Losers Complain... Do Yo' Thang!!!

Peace & Love
