I've previously noted Louie G's as one of the South Sound's premiere all-ages venues. Revered by fans and artists alike for it's fantastic stage, professional lighting and wonderful sound, Louie G's Pizzeria in Fife is loved in numbers. This September 21st and 22nd will mark the venue's 2nd annual "Dreamfest." Though the event is only in it's 2nd year, it is shaping up to become the establishment's trademark festival. Not to mention all the amazing shows and events that occur all year round.

"Welcome to my dream, you're all in it."

That's how the Louie Galarza himself - the venue's owner and the conceiver of the event - describes the festival.

Some names you may find familiar will be making their way to Fife this year to perform at the anticipated event.

Headlining the show will be hard rocking Seattle-dwellers Windowpane. The band will be hitting the Louie G's fresh after a performance at The Gorge Amphitheatre, having shared the stage with Jane's Addiction, Alice In Chains and Avenged Sevenfold.

Tacoma's Riot In Rhythm will also make an appearance. Prominent members of the Seattle music scene, the band will keep it homegrown with their performance at Louie G's Dreamfest.

Ben Union, another growing favorite will be bringing his groovin' songs and high-energy performance to the stage at Dreamfest. With a recent show at The Showbox at the Market playing at Eclectic Approach's CD release, the band will be bringing their top-notch performance back down to their hometown fans.

It has quickly become the standard that no South Sound music festival is complete without a visit from - as I've endearingly previously put it - "Tacoma's electro-pop sweethearts" THE FAME RIOT. You won't want to miss this performance. Because for those of us non-boat owners, you may have only seen them acquire their sea-legs from afar at Underwater Music Fest this past weekend. Now you can see them up-close and personal, and DANCE TAX FREE.

The event details and full lineup can be viewed on the Facebook event page at The 2nd day's lineup is yet to be announced, but will surely be confirmed in the foreseeable future.
