This is an odd duck of a movie, rooted in a near-mythical, old-timey Ireland where everyone speaks as if they know they're characters in a fable. Emily Blunt stars as the headstrong farmer Rosemary, with Jamie Dornan as the neighbor afraid to declare his feelings for her and Jon Hamm as the American who doesn't hesitate. - Two and a half stars
