There's no small resemblance between comedian Pete Davidson and Scott, the character he plays in Judd Apatow's sharp, funny and insightful slice of life. Both love to smoke pot, and Scott also lost his firefighter father at a young age. Still, Davidson delivers a fully realized performance, tackling dark comedy and raw drama with equal aplomb. - Three and a half stars
