We've sung the praises of Tacoma's Gritty City Sirens burlesque troupe, and also the praises of Olympia's much-heralded Tush! burlesque troupe. We've done a lot of singing, when it comes to local burlesque anyway. Rarely, if ever, however, have we gotten the chance to sing the praises of Tush! and the Gritty City Sirens together - which is exactly the opportunity Valentine's Day provides.
Billed as "Sweet & Spicy: A Valentine's Day Burlesque," Tuesday at the Pantages Theater Tush! and Gritty City Sirens will combine for an evening that promises nothing short of pure awesomeness. ]FACT: Your ticket includes access to what's described as a "decadent" dessert buffet and a glass of wine. Boom.
All of it benefits the YWCA Pierce County and the Broadway Center.
