The Pierce County Library System selected the best-selling Garlic and Sapphires: The Secret Life of a Critic in Disguise by nationally known award-winning author Ruth Reichl as the Pierce County READS book for 2010, which begins today and runs through April 3. The memoir tells the accounts of famous food critic Reichl and her secret adventures as an undercover food critic for the New York Times in the 1990s.
