When Bobble Tiki was a tiny tyke, Father Tiki taught him an important lesson. Father Tiki said ''Bobble, every rose has its thorn. Just like every night has its dawn. Just like every cowboy sings a sad, sad, song.''

Wait a minute, those are also the lyrics from a Poison song.

This explains why Father Tiki's talk about the birds and the bees included multiple references to the phrase "Unskinny Bop."

It's only appropriate, then, that Bobble Tiki will be upfront for hair-metal rockers Poison, Motley Crue and the New York Dolls Friday night at the Tacoma Dome for more fatherly advice ... and Aqua Net to impressionable young fans.

Booze Update

The Tacoma Dome Exhibition Hall will open its beer garden at 5 p.m. Expect $4 happy hour specials from 5-6 p.m. including Bud Light, Bud Light Lime, house wines, Pink Lemon Bombs, Los Cabos Margaritas and Corral Reef Mai Tais. 

The McKinley's Grill Restaurant inside the Dome will also open at 5 p.m. with $3 happy hour specials available from 5-6 p.m. Click here for a free appetizer coupon. No reservations accepted, seating is first come, first serve.

By the way, there's limited $25 cash only parking in Tacoma Dome lots.

My big sister was a huge fan in the late 80's. We shared a room and I learned all the words to every song and went to bed looking at this every night:
