Café Divino is my favorite Tacoma wine bar and is within a quick stroll of the water. Who doesn't want to walk the Waterfront whilst drunk? With more than 100 wines available, you will find plenty of international wine here - with a slight focus on the Northwest, California and Australia. The menu is also great, if not a tad pricey. One special perk of the food at Café Divino is that it's not dainty - you can order full sandwiches, gyros, fish tacos, salmon dinners and beyond. Even better: On Tuesday nights, there is a tarot reader so you can learn where all that wine will take you.
If you seek far and wide for a delightful wine selection paired with an expansive menu, head to Pour at Four in Tacoma's Proctor District. Here, you will find wine upon wine, from blends and dessert wines to wine from France, Italy and Spain. The menu offers up unique flavors - tapas, appetizers, entrées. Prawns in mango curry sauce, baked Brie and artisan cheeses await! And if wine is just not your thing, they have a reasonably priced (and nicely varied) beer selection too.
