In regards to STINK, the word on the street is Jack at neighboring Fudie is serving Gluhwein.
Thanks Lynn. My shadow animal skills are top-notch.
Marrow will be a whiskey bar/gastro pub offering small plates of exotic sounding culinary creations. It will open in early August if everything goes as planned.
Thanks for participating Todd. It's at least 100 questions less than past years. Editor Matt cut my suggestion: Best place to sip soup and listen to vinyl between a pool hall and a comedy club?
Weekly Volcano Circulation Guy Bill invited Kate and I to Easter brunch at Oakbrook Country Club. Huge spread with omelet and prime rib stations, cinnamon roll French toast, perfect bacon and special treats from @BarKeepDana (Twitter). Packed house.
Are you singing Kevin, or whipping out the trumpet?
This is sad news. The day before Thanksgiving every year, after our short deadline, high-stress three-day week, we'd blow off steam at Captain Nemo's before heading home for the holiday. The Weekly Volcano staff will miss those stiff drinks and captain chairs. R.I.P.
Oh man Brian, how I miss Shakey's pizza, the airy crust, the long wooden tables and the silent flicks. Pietros would be ranked high, too.
Our readers seeded this tournament throughout the month of February. The Right Spot battles Rollie's Tavern March 28. Download the attached bracket pdf and follow the fun.
Congrats to Amy McBride for correctly guessing the Adriatic Grill. Keep an eye on Spew for more random Munch Hunch posts.

Mrs. Pappi,
I've been to said Forza too. It's awesome. That said, after I drink a pot of coffee at home I always grab another grande on the way to work. i have issues. I'm afraid their trifecta buzz would explode my heart.
I should stay away from the $10 Drink Challenge, according to this list: www.mayoclinic.com/health/caffeine/NU00600
Had their Chicken Pappardele Alfredo the other day. Fabulous. It's quite different from the late 80s when their Alfredo was thick and gooey. Also digging the jazz trio on Friday and Saturday nights.
I miss the Back 40 Tavern, Victory Club, Panamonica's, Monsoon Room, Vertigo Lounge, Red Kelly's joint, Hotel Bar and Grill, Trophy Room, Prosito's, Lorenzo's lounge, Terrace Restaurant in Lakewood, and the Bavarian,
What kind of clubs Alvaro?
It's real.
I agree. Rusty George Creative did nice work.
Good morning AP. We are looking into the possibility of a giveaway. Good call.
I agree Dale. It will be seeded high I'm sure. Funny, I've been hanging at this spot since it opened in the early 1980s and I have never tried their burgers. However, the number of times I've ordered their Luau pizza must be close to a hundred.
Yesterday, I got lost inside Stadium Thriftway.
So ya thought ya might like to go to the show.
To feel the warm thrill of confusion, that neon glow.
I imagine Speedos are almost a guaranteed win.
Taqueria El Rinconsito lost to Moctezuma's in the Final Cuatro. El Rin does serve one of the best tacos in Tacoma.
Frances, that's excellent news.
The Tournament of Tacos includes 64 taco-serving establishments in the greater Tacoma area - including Hell's Kitchen. The full taco bracket is printed in this week's Volcano. It is also saved as a pdf on this blog post.
I agree Megan. The burrito was tasty. I will miss this place.
Club Kokonut is for sale or lease. "Ben" says the bar is ready to go. There's a phone number: 253.691.3173.
Remember the rumor that X Group might open an Italian restaurant in the Stadium District El Guad spot? That would be quite lovely.
You guys rocked The Swiss last night. I could feel the deep bass from Tim and Mike out front.
We posted a few shots of the band in our Photo Hot Spot in the Bars & Clubs section.

Ah, Mr. Blackwatch. Doug Mackey, Joe Wood, Kevin Fraser and Evan Purcell playing semi-acoustic originals and covers to a crowd of Mr. Blackouts. It's going to be awesome.
