The Weekly Volcano doesn’t cover much kid stuff, but that’s not because we don’t like kids. It’s just that there are so many adult things to do. So here’s an exception: Randy Oxford’s Blues Theatre Wednesday open jam allows kids to jump on the stage from 8 to 9 p.m.

They sing. They play instruments. They ham up the applause, which most really deserve. Check it out every Wednesday at Jazzbones.
