Fourth of July weekend is one of the best summer weekends in Tacoma —completely jam-packed with all kinds of different fun things to do. People flock from all over Washington and the West Coast to attend the Freedom Fair on Ruston Way or see the Tall Ships that have sailed in. Merelin Giron was doing just that — exploring the Tall Ships down on Thea Foss Waterway — when she was spotted looking summery and fresh by Whatcha Wearing. She was enjoying the atmosphere and a chocolate ice cream cone near the ships in a breezy black cotton dress that she purchased for $11 at Forever 21. She paired her adorable flouncy dress with gray and black coach shoes that she got on sale at Macy’s. And topped the whole ensemble off by matching her cute shoes with a gray and black patterned Coach bag also purchased at Macy’s.
Giron was in town visiting her boyfriend from her native city of Los Angeles, Calif., and said the thing that she had the most fun doing on her short trip to Tacoma was going on a date to Maxwell’s Speakeasy + Lounge — a new restaurant located on Sixth and St. Helens in downtown Tacoma. With this girl’s impeccable style we can bet she showed up at Maxwell’s just like the Tall ships — looking fabulous.
