Plus: Eat 101, The Mix and Sippin' Out

Eat for a cause

Pierce and Thurston county restaurant owners will participate in the 11th annual Dining Out for Life event tonight.

Knocking the socks off last year’s total participating restaurants, this year’s 63 fine Pierce County and 25 Thurston County establishments show they care by sharing what’s in their wallets (or rather cash registers). Twenty-five percent of the night’s proceeds from food and non-alcoholic drink sales will be donated to the Pierce County AIDS Foundation.
