Why, oh why, you might be asking, does the Weekly Volcano put itself through this torment every year? The crowds, the lines, the expense … all to hand off a cheerfully wrapped box with the ideal gift inside, certain to thrill the recipient. No pressure there.
Trying to escape the mayhem, we attend the Beautiful Angle Holiday Party and Benefit Poster Sale Saturday. Yikes! More people! Black Water Café was jam packed with people munching on food, drinking coffee and buying the Angel’s new holiday letter press poster, as well as past posters. We scored the new poster before they ran out. Nice!
