Snappy dresser, comic book lover

Jason McKibbin, front man for long time Tacoma punk band I DEFY, has recently launched new endeavors in the world of comic books and memorabilia both new and old. When it was announced that Swan’s Magazines on Sixth Avenue was closing, McKibbin and partners seized the rare opportunity — literally carting away tons of old comics, newspapers, books, magazines. McKibbin shares that he loves what he’s doing but is a little delirious with all the hustle involved — playing a Tacoma show Friday, getting up at the crack of dawn Saturday for a Bellingham comic book show only to race back to T-town for an I DEFY show to find it canceled due to a sick band mate.

McKibbin wears black on black under a leather jacket. T-shirt is Spiderman with a small “Jimmy Olsen Must Die” pin on it. Jason’s humor shows through his rough persona as he poses with PBR bottle and devil horns flying.
