Funky blue, black and white geometric patterns on Salon Ivoni hairstylist Kim Barran’s Mix-It dress ($40, JC Penny’s) stood out in the crowd at Jazzbones Anniversary Party Saturday.

Her long sleeves gather at the wrist adding to the 1960’s retro vibe. Black patent leather belt with exaggerated square buckle came with the dress. Not pictured are No Boundaries black leggings ($15, Macy’s) running smoothly down Kim’s legs ending mid-calf and finishing with Aldo’s black stilettos.   

Her flirty black/red Sally Hansen fingernail polish ($3) keeps her overall appearance from being too finished. The large ring on Kim’s left hand is formed of baby blue, hot pink and metallic cream gem clusters the size of a sparkly grape with silver band. Her eclectic yet modern look screams JFK Hampton era socialite.

We’re glad she’s here helping keep Tacoma hot.
