Music and Murals, a new event this year in People’s Park, saw a broad spectrum of attendees and was blessed with a bright blue sky and warm weather. Kids ran through the crowd with their faces painted like wild animals or adorned with butterflies, laughing, screaming and generally carrying on as kids do. People watched as area artist Alexis St. John and others painted new murals. Live hip-hop, R&B and dancers kept young and old entertained. Some stood entranced as Hilltop Artists in Residence glass blowers created beautiful pieces on the spot while women admired the incredible silks at Moroccan Treasures’ booth.  Nice.
