I saw Sonja Politakis’ fabulously kicky new ’do and had to ask the question: Who?
Turns out a new stylist is subtly moving her way into the scene, only she’s not so new.
Melissa Ellis has been an established face at Seattle’s fabulously posh Bocz salon. Prior to that, she worked at Gene Juarez in Tacoma and later, Seattle, where she lived until moving here to start a family.
Now with a wee one, she’s joining the team at Le Chat Noir on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and every other Saturday, where she’ll give lucky clients fabulously posh cuts for not-posh prices — as she settles in, her cuts will cost only $40.
