The Last Sin Eater
Christian family drama starring Louis Fletcher and Henry Thomas.  A dark secret threatens to divide the family of a 10-year-old girl seeking redemption from the man who absolved the sins of her grandmother by eating bread and wine at her grave.  PG-13 for thematic elements and some violence — Bill White

Raising Flagg
Coming off his Oscar-nominated performance in “Little Miss Sunshine” Alan Arkin plays a small-town farmer who ends up bedridden from the stress of a humorous spat with his neighbor and close friend Gus.  It turns out the anger in the friendship is due to the fact that they are both in love with the same woman (Barbara Dana, who interestingly was married to Arkin for 35 years until 2002).  PG-13 for brief drug content — BW

Opening Valentine’s Day
Daddy’s Little Girls
A single father, a garage mechanic named Monty (Idris Elba), living in a poor neighborhood loses custody of his three daughters to his corrupt, drug-dealing ex-wife.  The beautiful Gabrielle Union plays a hard-edged attorney who helps Monty get his girls back, and an unexpected romance blooms.  PG-13 for drug and sexual content, some violence and language — BW

Music And Lyrics
Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore try to make beautiful music together as Grant’s former superstar Alex Fletcher gets the opportunity for a comeback when he is asked to write a song for a young pop diva.  Only Alex can’t write lyrics.  Ah, but Sophie (Barrymore) can.  PG-13 for some sexual content — BW
