The friendly and low-key artist’s reception for Desiree Flerchinger, held at Syren Lounge, showcased a range of art — some pieces were loaded with symbolism; some were loaded with whimsy, and some were just loaded with talent.  But then the vibe shifted, and the party had to move to a different venue, where things became less about paint and more about booty shaking.
